HEY!

I’m not dead… yet!

We’re nearing the end of a rough year, but we’ve made it this far. I hesitate to use the go-to internet artist excuse of “muh depression” to explain a lack of posting, however the stresses of such a tumultuous year (screw cancer) certainly do their best to sap energy. On the positive side, I’m working on a moving picture short of a bit from the Funny Boys, so look to see that (hopefully) early next year, after which I will NOT be animating any more for a while and go back to my stupid little comics. Maybe someone will even read them this time!

To all my fellow Canadians out there, best of luck. Unless a governmental change happens soon, we are in for a rough time for the next few years. Buckle down, quietly resist the draconian new laws being passed, and write to your MP, that, yes, in fact, free speech does matter. Every voice helps, and you matter. Oh, and stop consooming. Seriously. In a recession like this, it’s vital that you take a look at what you can cut, and do it. Big Boy Bezos doesn’t need your money, and you can live without Netflix. Hey, find a new hobby, or simply read a book. The world is pretty cool, actually, and there’s so much good out there that gets missed. Go find it. 

Also, things get better. They always do, even if it gets worse first.
